How to prepare for a Laser Treatment
To prepare for the laser avoid waxing, plucking and sun exposure in the area. Shaving however, is encouraged as is the use of a sunscreen prior to treatment. Side effects are minimal and will be reviewed at the time of your consult.
How much do Laser Treatments cost?
Laser treatments are generally not covered by insurance and are considered cosmetic. A price estimate will be given at the time of your consult.
Laser Skin Tightening
Gentle Max works by creating a beam of high-intensity light that delivers a controlled amount of heat along with a cooling burst of cryogen to the treatment area. The length of your treatment may take as little as a few minutes or as long as an hour depending on the area to be treated. This series of treatments results in collagen deposition over time. Skin tightening is available for the face, neck and décolletage. The treatment feels much like the snapping of a small rubber band. Most patients feel very little discomfort. The number of sessions needed will vary.
Laser Hair Reduction
Laser hair reduction can be used for the face and body. The price depends on the specific areas you are treating and the type of hair in that area. For more information, click here.
Spider Vein Treatment
Lasers are used to treat smaller spider veins, particularly in the facial region. Pulses of laser light are directed to the visible facial capillaries causing them to get lighter. To learn more about Spider Vein Removal, click here.
Age Spot (Sun Spot) Removal
Age spots, or sun spots, can be removed through laser treatments. Laser treatments for age spot or sun spot removal are most effective when combined with topical bleaching agents to ensure lasting results.
