Bodytite

We all strive to look and feel our best. Diet and exercise are at the cornerstones of staying fit,but sometimes that is not sufficient. Now you have the answer: BodyTite.

What Is Bodytite?

BodyTite is a great solution for individuals who are looking to reduce fat without the saggy, wrinkly skin. It also helps improve skin laxity after weight loss or due to aging.

BodyTite is a minimally invasive procedure that shapes, contracts and lifts without the scalpel or large scarring. You are left with surgical-like results without prolonged downtime.

BodyTite uses RFAL (Radio-Frequency Assisted Lipolysis) technology that addresses some of the shortcomings associated with traditional liposuction or surgical body lifts.

What Areas Can Be Treated?

If you can imagine it, you can do it: stomach, arms, chest, knees and inner/outer thighs are some of the most common treatment zones. Multiple areas can be treated in one visit. Each zone will take approximately 15 minutes of treatment.

Bodytite Effects

The BodyTite procedure is the first of its kind, designed to target adipose tissue as well as the skin. The effects of your treatment improve over time as cellular metabolism and collagen production occur. The result of these stimulated actions is smooth contouring across one or more areas of your body. Without surgery or a prolonged recovery period, you can enjoy substantial fat reduction and tissue firming that rejuvenates your appearance.

What Is The Downtime?

Depending on the treatment area, downtime can be from 1-2 days up to 10 days.

Do You Need a Compression Garment after BodyTite?

If you're committed to living a healthy, active lifestyle after receiving BodyTite treatment, you can expect your results to last five years or longer. The fat reduction that occurs after treatment can achieve permanent results provided that you maintain your weight. Due to the natural aging process, however, tissue laxity is an unavoidable recurrence. Your lifestyle, genetics, and other factors will all influence the rate at which collagen decline occurs and your skin loosens. If you would like to enhance or prolong your BodyTite results, you can schedule subsequent treatments every few years.

How Long Do BodyTite Results Last?

Compression is highly recommended for BodyTite patients. Wearing the appropriate garment can help reduce the degree of swelling that occurs during the short recovery period. It may also keep you more comfortable to have gentle pressure against the area we've treated. During your consultation, we can discuss our recommendations for compression, how many hours a day you should wear your garment, and how long you should continue wearing it.

Are There Side Effects to BodyTite?

You can expect a few side effects during your brief recovery from BodyTite treatment. These usually last only a few days. If needed, you can take over-the-counter medication to soothe the minor discomfort that may occur. In addition to soreness, the skin in the treatment area may feel tender to the touch. The soreness and tenderness can slightly impair your physical movements, so you may want to curtail your activity level for a short while after your procedure. You may develop redness or bruising in the treatment area, as well, and your skin may appear slightly lumpy or uneven. A normal side effect of lipolysis, unevenness should resolve as the fat cells disperse and smooth out under the skin.

Does BodyTite Leave Scars?

You will have very small marks where the 2mm incisions are made for your BodyTite procedure. Because the skin is broken, scarring will occur. The question is, how visible will these scars be? Once your incisions have healed (the skin is intact again), you can begin using a scar cream or silicone sheeting over the skin to promote optimal collagen regeneration. With or without a formal scar treatment regimen, it can take up to 12 months for scars to mature. Generally, the small nicks in the skin result in very light, very discreet spots. Once the scars have matured, you may not even notice them.
