One unique aspect of our field is the opportunity to work collaboratively with almost every medical and surgical specialty. We work regularly with breast surgeons and perform breast reconstruction after mastectomy. We work with cancer surgeons to remove tumors and provide reconstruction for all parts of the body. We daily work with dermatologists in the realm of skin cancer, benign soft tissue tumors and other skin conditions. We are busy with breast reduction surgeries which are life changing for patients. We are experts at cosmetic surgeries such as breast augmentations, breast lifts, tummy-tucks and liposuction. For patients who have had major weight loss, surgeries such as belt-lipectomy, brachioplasty and thigh lift are transformative. Our fellowship trained hand surgeons have taken additional years of training and provide expert hand and wrist surgical and non-surgical care for conditions such as carpal tunnel, tendonitis, trigger finger, fractures, arthritis and all varieties of hand trauma.
