What to Know About Asymmetrical Breasts

Breast Asymmetry Correction Rochester, NYSymmetry is good to have in many areas of our lives because it helps us look and feel balanced. However, if you were to draw a line directly down the middle of your body, you would notice that you are probably far than symmetrical. Although having things like asymmetry on certain parts of your face aren’t very noticable, having breasts that are asymmetrical are a lot more noticable; especially when you’re in a swimsuit or a bra. Rather than stuffing one side of your bra with toilet paper every day, let us at The Plastic Surgery Group of Rochester help you get the asymmetrical breasts that you want to make you feel like your best self.

What Is Asymmetrical Breast Surgery?

During an asymmetrical breast augmentation, it is our goal to make sure that your breasts are symmetrical. Typically, we can do this one of two ways. The first way that we do this, is by adding two different sized breast implants (one to each breast) to help create symmetrical breasts. The other way to do this is if you like the size of the smaller breast, we can do a breast reduction on the other size of the breast (either leaving it alone or adding an implant at one point).

What Are Results Like?

It is our goal to make sure that you leave our operating table looking and feeling as balanced as ever with some symmetrical breasts. During your initial consultation, we will go over your hopes from surgery and discuss the surgeries that can give you the best results; that way, you feel confident both going into surgery and leaving surgery.

One of the best feeling is slipping into a swimsuit and not feeling self-conscious about having two different sized breasts. If you want to learn a little bit more about asymmetrical breast augmentation, contact our Rochester office today and call us at (585) 922-5840.
